Sarah Moore, LM, CPM, BSM
Licensed Certified Professional Midwife, Primary Midwife, Owner
Sarah has been supporting families in their birthing experiences since 2011 as a doula with a desire to support people to feel empowered and in control of their births. Her third birth as a doula was a home birth where she watched as the midwife quietly assessed and facilitated the birthing process. She provided safety and guidance as the baby came Earthside. She was hands on, supportive, and comforting.
Sarah’s life was forever changed.
She went on to have her own home birth in 2012 and started an apprenticeship with Kathy Devine, CNM, and Monica Basile, CPM, of Mother and Child Midwifery in Iowa City in 2013. Sarah earned the credential of Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) from the North American Registry of Midwives in 2018 and a Bachelors in the Science of Midwifery (BSM) from Midwives College of Utah in 2023. Sarah is licensed in Illinois and Iowa.
Sarah and her husband, Jared, have three daughters who are home educated. Their family enjoys being outside, hiking, biking, or kayaking.
